Imagine an Enchanting Village
In the Heart of the Latin Quarter

Discover 2000 years of history at your doorstep

This is historically the oldest district in Paris dating back to the 1st Century, when the Romans conquered the area and built the city of Lutetia.

In the year 310, the city changed its name to Paris, after the Latin name of the inhabitants of the area – the Parisii.

It is called the Latin Quarter because Latin was the only language used in universities up until the 17th Century.

The Sorbonne, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in France, is the heart of the Latin Quarter.

An Oasis of Calm

Step into a treasure-chest of bevelled mirrors, antique, brocante and flea-market furnishings, tableaux and objets d’art.

Warm golden tones, original parquet floors and fireplace, velour draperies create a cozy and romantic ambiance.

And so quiet, you’d think you were in the middle of the countryside – not in the center of a metropolis!
So quiet, you can leave your windows open at night and luxuriate in the calm after an exciting day in the City of Lights.
